This system is designed for use with our new Lorex Cirrus™ app. Compatible with most smartphones and tablets, this app will have you viewing your system remotely within minutes. Other in-app features, like an easy-to-read timeline that will also keep track of all motion activity and motion-activated push notifications and / or instant email alerts, will help you monitor smarter and keep you connected to your property while you're away.

Lorex web client available Lorex Client 13 gives you access to your security system and its settings over the Internet using a PC or Mac computer. With this software, you will be able to view live and recorded video, as well as save manual recordings and snapshots to your computer's hard drive. Plug-and-play installation Easily connect compatible MPX security cameras to this DVR using Siamese BNC cabling (up to 300ft). This siamese cable splits into two ends, one for video and one for power. This allows you to plug the camera in close to the DVR, rather than finding a plug close to the camera. For larger installations, a single BNC cable (video only) can connect to a camera up to 800ft away. For those who already own a wired security system, this DVR is backward compatible, which means you can use your older analog security cameras. Or simply upgrade your system to 1080p by swapping out your old BNC cameras for new 1080p wired HD cameras that use the same cabling.

Rugged security-grade hard drive pre-installed Lorex uses security grade hard drives in every DVR. These hard drives are no ordinary hard drives. They are designed for constant surveillance, providing weeks (possibly even months) of reliable video. The 4 channel and 8 channel versions of this DVR include a 1TB hard drive while the 16 channel model comes with a massive 2TB hard drive. This DVR will also let you customize recording settings to suit your needs. Record at 1080p HD (1920x1080) for the highest resolution, or change the settings to a lower resolution for extended recording time.
