For an easy and flexible installation, only a single RG59 video cable is needed to connect the DVR to your cameras.

Thankfully, the DV700 Series Digital Video Recorder (DVR) is capable of recording crystal clear 1080p HD resolution on all channels. It can also record at a full 30 frames-per-second rate in 720p HD resolution. This high frame rate provides real-time motion, ensuring you don't miss the best moments.

Remote viewing from your mobile with Lorex Cloud™

The DV7014 is designed for use with Lorex Cloud™ - our innovative hassle-free cloud connection service. Say goodbye to IP & router port forwarding issues - with Lorex Cloud™ you can quickly and easily view your security system remotely from your smartphone or tablet. Audio security cameras supported

Your DV700 Series DVR supports audio recording on every channel over the same coaxial BNC cable that connects the camera to DVR. This use of an audio security camera can enhance your security coverage by providing you with more evidence (such as voices) and expand your security coverage beyond the camera's field of view (FOV). So feel free to add a couple of Lorex's premium audio cameras, such as the LEV2750AB, to your system today for an extra level of security monitoring.

High quality hard drive reliability

Lorex uses security certified hard drives manufactured specifically to meet the demands of security monitoring. Tuned precisely to manage high workloads and to be in constant operation, you can rely on this professional grade HDD to safely store weeks (or even months) of security footage. Program scheduled recording times or record at a lower resolution to extend recording space. The motion-triggered recording option can also save additional storage space by recording only when movement is detected.

Continuous, scheduled, and motion recording

Record footage continuously, during scheduled times, or only when movement is detected with this DVR. Customize these recording options on a camera to camera bases. This DVR also comes with a pre-recording function that goes back to record the five seconds before the motion is detected, which means you never have to worry about missing a moment.

Automatic overwrite

The DV700 Series DVR is designed to automatically overwrite the oldest data with the newest data when the hard drive becomes full. This means that you don't have to do a thing to manage your hard drive space.

Automatic recovery after power failure

Don't worry about your DVR if there is a power outage. It has an auto-recovery feature that automatically reboots the system once it regains power. This means that you don't have to do a thing - your system will start recording again within minutes. A Watch Dog function is also built-in to this DVR. This function continuously monitors the system for potential system errors. If it ever detects a critical error, Watch Dog will automatically reboot the system, which helps ensure system stability, keeps your cameras recording, and prevents future system failures.
