When combined with Lorex wire-free cameras, this DVR is capable of recording in 1080p HD resolution on all six channels - the highest resolution available in wire-free technology. This full HD quality may end up being the difference you need when identifying vital details such as facial features.

Easy installation Use this DVR exclusively with Lorex wire-free cameras. These wire-free cameras connect wirelessly to the DVR with a simple "pairing" function. Simply click which channel you want the camera to pair too from the DVR menu settings and then press the pair button on the camera within 30 seconds. A successful pairing message should appear on the screen and the setup will be complete.

This app is full of convenient features that make monitoring your home easier than ever before. Receive push notifications straight to your phone or tablet's home screen if one of your cameras detects motion or easily review past motion events using the easy-to-read history timeline.

Save money on bandwidth and zero monthly fees There are no hidden fees or monthly subscriptions with this wire-free security system. You won't need to upgrade your internet plan either. This is because the internet is not required to send video data to the cloud for storage. The only time you will need to use your internet bandwidth is if you need to access your security system remotely (i.e. live viewing or playback).

16GB, 32GB, 1TB of local storage This DVR has been designed to store video data locally. This means that your security recordings are safe and secure within your residence. The total amount of motion based recordings stored will depend on the size of your MircoSD card or hard drive*. Thankfully Lorex wire-free cameras only record for short periods and do not consume a lot of storage space. A 1TB hard drive, for example, can record up to 2 years of motion events. *MicroSD models can be expanded up to 128GB (Class 10 or higher from recommended brands like Sandisk) while the storage space for hard drive models can be expanded up to 6TB.

Advanced Motion Detection Capture only the most important moments with motion recording. Lorex wire-free security cameras use a Passive Infrared (PIR) sensor to detect motion. This built-in sensor detects heat from moving objects such as people or animals. Upon detection, the wire-free security camera will automatically wake up and start sending video wirelessly to the DVR (at longer distances then typically WiFi devices). The DVR can then send you a push notification to your smart phone or tablet using the Lorex Cirrus app. This ensures that you will always be in the know.
