This NVR is compatible with IP security cameras from 720p all the way to 4K resolution. It is capable of incorporating a total of 32 separate IP cameras with the help of a PoE Switch (sold separately). A massive six terabyte security certified hard drive comes pre-installed to ensure plenty of recording space. It can also be connected to our innovative Lorex Cloud app for easy remote monitoring from your smartphone or tablet. Real-time 4K recording This cutting-edge NVR is capable of recording smooth 4K video in real-time (30 frames per second) on all 32 channels. The foremost benefit of using a 4K security system is the additional resolution will be utilized when necessary. So if an incident does occur, it will offer the best chance to capture useful evidence such as distinct facial features. This higher resolution (3840 × 2160 pixels compared to 1920 x 1080) will also allow you digitally zoom further into the distance without drastically reducing image quality.

Plug-and-play installation via PoE This NVR uses Power-over-ethernet (PoE) technology for a truly plug-and-play surveillance experience. Each camera only requires a single ethernet cable to connect them to the NVR. This all-in-one cable provides both power to the camera and video transmission up to 300ft / 91m, which means that you do not need to plug your security cameras in.

Record audio on every channelThis NVR supports audio recording on all channels with no secondary connections required. Audio is transmitted to the NVR over the same Cat5e Ethernet cable that connects your camera to the NVR. This means that all you need to do is add a Lorex audio camera that supports listen-in audio, such as the LND2750AB security camera, to gain additional evidence (such as voices) and expand your security coverage beyond the camera's field of view (FOV).

How do I use all 32 channels on my NVR? The NR9326 NVR supports up to 32 security cameras. Out of the box you can directly connect 16 cameras to the back of the NVR, and accommodate sixteen more by adding a PoE switch. Learn more about PoE switches.

24 / 7 recording Your NVR comes with two 3TB security grade hard drives (6TB total) that can record footage continuously without ever taking a break. This is even true when while you review recorded footage. Your NVR can also customize recording settings to fit your needs. Record up to 4K HD (3840 × 2160)* for the highest video quality, or set to a lower resolution for improved recording efficiency. Three recording modesCustomize this NVR's recording settings to fit your needs. It can record footage continuously, during scheduled times, or only when movement is detected. If you wish to only record motion events, there is no need to worry about missing those first vital moments. This NVR includes a pre-recording function that goes back to record the five seconds before the motion was even detected. Most importantly, all of these recording modes can be customized on a camera to camera bases.

Automatically overwrites the oldest footageThis NVR has been engineered to automatically overwrite the oldest footage as the newest footage comes in. So you will never have to worry about data management until you need to save video clips for permanent storage.

Up to 40% More Storage CapacityThe NR900 Series NVR is able to receive HEVC (High Efficiency Video Encoding) or H.265 video compression files. This feature can save you up to 40% more space when compared to H.264 Advanced Video Coding. So go ahead and add one of Lorex's new line of 4K security cameras to your security system. They come equipped with HEVC compression capabilities, which allows you to receive 4x the resolution of 1080p without the large 4K file sizes.

Internal and external footage back up A common saying when it comes to data management is, "if it doesn't exist in two places, it doesn't exist at all." This means that should one hard drive fail, you will still have a copy of your data files. Well thankfully, Lorex has made backing up your footage to a secondary hard drive possible in a few different ways. First, you can use an external USB flash drive or hard drive to back-up the data of your internal hard drive. You can also do this by installing another hard drive to the secondary internal hard drive bay within the NVR. Just make sure this secondary hard drive is 6TB's to match the preinstalled 6TB hard drive in the first hard drive bay. You can also remotely backup your footage to an FTP server. If you want to continuously backup your footage to an FTP, however, we advise that it be on your local network, as sending that amount of constant data over the internet can strain the performance of the NVR. If you do not have access to a local FTP, it is recommended to customize your NVR to only record during select scheduled times or on motion activated events.

Automatic recovery after power outages An auto-recovery function will automatically reboot this NVR if there is a power outage. This means that it will simply start recording again after it regains power. There is also a Watch Dog feature built-in that continuously monitors the system for potential system errors. If this feature ever detects a critical error, it will automatically restart the NVR. This helps ensure system stability, keeps your cameras recording, and prevents future system failures.

IPv6 support IP (Internet Protocol) addresses are given to every computer or device connected to the internet. This is essentially how devices communicate with each other. Over the past few years, however, there has been an ongoing switch from Internet Protocol version 4 (IPv4) to Internet Protocol version 6 (IPv6). This is because IPv4, which only supports 4.3 billion addresses, is simply running out of unique numbers. IPv6, on the other hand, can support 340 trillion, trillion, trillion IP addresses. Thankfully, your NVR has been engineered to support IPv6. So as this process continues, your NVR will be equipped to handle it. This NVR also supports other important internet protocols, including HTTP, TCP/IP, UPNP, RTSP, UDP, SMTP, NTP, DHCP, DNS, PPPOE, DDNS, and FTP.
