This Analog HD security camera features more than twice the resolution of standard 1080p cameras, Color Night Vision, and a durable all-metal housing. 5MP resolution provides you with Super HD quality video, adding a dimension of clarity you can really see. With Color Night Vision, long-range IR night vision and a weatherproof design, you can keep watch day or night, rain or shine.

Super HD security cameraThis camera's 5MP resolution recording will leave nothing to the imagination. Compared to 1080p HD, which records at a 1920 × 1080 pixel ratio, this security camera will record a pixel ratio of 2592 × 1944 – that's more than double the number of pixels of 1080p. The advantage of this heightened resolution, besides adding extra clarity and sharpness to the video, is that it will allow for greater digital zooms while reviewing video. This means that details deep in the distance of the video won't blur together as quickly as a digital zoom is applied simply because there are more pixels available.

Straightforward connection This analog security camera comes with a siamese coaxial cable (60ft) to connect it to a compatible DVR (not included). This single cable splits into two heads at both ends (one head is for power, the other for video). Simply connect the video cable to the DVR and the power cable to an electrical outlet. Then connect the other two ends to the corresponding connections on the camera for an easy plug-and-play installation.

Night vision for all-night security coverage Rest assured knowing that your dome security camera works in all lighting conditions. With the help of exterior lighting, this camera will use our Color Night Vision technology. It can also produce black and white night vision up to 120ft / 37m with minimal ambient lighting or 82ft / 25m in total darkness. It also use SmartIR technology to ensure that the infrared lights don't over-expose faces or objects that get close to the camera.

Full Metal Camera Housing This dome camera from Lorex is built using a heavy-duty aluminum exterior. This provides additional protection against both the elements and large impacts.
